This corner features pets of animal lovers every week. We hope new owners and those thinking of getting a pet will be encouraged to be responsible “furparents” through these features. We also hope more people will be moved to be kind to animals when they read about the great relationship that can be created between humans and animals.

JIGGY found his way into the garage of Jonas Arevalo last June.
“It was raining hard and I heard a loud cry. We found him under the car. My dad got a stick to get him to move towards our main door and it worked and he went inside our house,” Jonas recalls.
“We let him sleep and the next day he felt comfortable roaming around, “ Jonas adds.
Jonas recalls his mom fed Jiggy some rice and soup. Jiggy finished it up and slept the whole day.
“Days passed by and he started brushing his nose on our legs as if asking for a pat on the head,” Jonas shares.
He adds,”He learned to sleep on my feet and would follow me to my room and sleep there. From then on, we took good care of him and bring him to the vet for his regular check up.”
“As of today, Jiggy is two (2) years old according to his vet. Jiggy loves porkchops and vegetables. We will love him forever,” says owner-adopter Jonas.
