Actor Kyle Echarri is set to grace the stage at the 29th Asian Television Awards as one of its performers. He will join other Asian acts, including Vietnam’s My My, Taiwan’s 87 Band, Malaysia’s Nadeera and Hael Husaini, Thailand’s Jirayut, and Indonesia’s Lesti Kejora, Putri Ariani, Lady Rara, D’Divo, and Nadhief Basalamah.
Known as the largest entertainment, content, and broadcast awards in the Asia-Pacific, the Asian Television Awards aims to recognize and reward figures within the Asian television industry.
Several Filipino shows and personalities have earned nominations in various categories, including Best Social Awareness Programme (Gretchen Ho Reports – Karlboro), Best Reality Show (Drag Den Season 2), Best News Presenter or Anchor (Charms Espina and Diane Querrer), Best Talk Show Host (Cathy Yang, Angelique Lazo, and Tricia Bersano), Best Actress in a Leading Role (Kim Chiu), Best Leading Female Performance – Digital (Julia Barretto), and Best Original Digital Drama Series (Secret Ingredient and People of the Barangay), among many others.
The 29th Asian Television Awards will be held on Nov. 29 and 30 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
