Halloween might be over but the recent Shake, Rattle, and Ball 2024 was a dazzling display of creativity and style, as over a hundred artists, influencers, drag queens, and personalities came together for a night of Halloween-themed revelry.
Hosted by the eventologist Tim Yap, the annual event took place at the Space at One Ayala on Oct. 30, transforming the venue into a whimsical wonderland inspired by the theme “Cirque.”
Dazzling on the black carpet, the guests arrived coming on their freakiest and iconic Halloween costumes that showcased their artistic flair. From ghoulish getups to whimsical circus characters, the creativity on display was nothing short of spectacular.

Therese Malvar
Award-winning actress Therese Malvar brought her acting prowess on the black carpet, coming to the event as a fortuneteller. Dressed in a white, flowing sheer dress, Therese brought her own props including her magic crystal ball.
Kris Bernal
If the invite says “freakiest”, actress Kris Bernal delivered her grandest look as she wore a clown-inspired ensemble, Dressed in a black and red dress with a large ribbon in her hair, Kris made it clear that she’s dressed to impress.
Roxie Smith, Skye Chua, Shuvee Etrata, and Ashley Ortega
It’s a squad goal for Sparkle artists and friends Roxie Smith, Skye Chua, Shuvee Etrata, and Ashley Ortega as they turned their Victoria’s Secret dreams into reality when they dressed themselves as Angels of the lingerie brand. If you’re hot, why not, right?
Carlos Yulo & Chloe San Jose
Two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo and his girlfriend, Chloe San Jose, graced this year’s Shake, Rattle, and Ball, dressed inspired by characters Chucky and Tiffany based on the film franchise of the infamous doll Chucky. Chloe wore a white gown with a flowing skirt that has a high slit paired with black boots while, Caloy slayed his colorful striped long-sleeve, cropped shirt under denim overalls.
Aira Lopez
Status by Sparkle artist Aira Lopes looked stunning in her Queen of Hearts-inspired costume. Her outfit included a corset designed with decks of playing cards and partnered it with a long, flowing red skirt. She also brought a fan made of playing cards.
Khianna with a K
Drag Race Philippines Season 3 runner-up Khianna with a K brought her A-game at the ball as she came as herself. Dressed in a costume that resembled a whimsical circus character, Khianna wore a red and white dress intricated with a large, ruffled skirt and oversized sleeves.
Janeena Chan
Following her Snow White costume last year, events host Janeena Chan continued to channel the Disney princess in her as she dressed up herself as Ariel of The Little Mermaid, arriving on the black carpet as the main host of the event.
Tim Yap
Of course, the Shake, Rattle, and Ball list of celebrities with the best looks wouldn’t be complete without the organizer himself. Known for his impeccable costumes every year, eventologist and host Tim Yap did it again as he brought the classic character of Kokey, an alien who befriends humans when its spaceship explodes upon landing on Earth.
