Based on its fourth tropical cyclone bulletin issued just before midnight, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said ‘Kristine’ maintained its strength as it accelerates westward.
“Since this tropical cyclone is still over the Philippine Sea, rapid intensification is not ruled out given the favorable environmental conditions,” PAGASA said.
‘Kristine’ is forecast to make a landfall by Thursday over Northern Luzon and exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility by Friday.
