The Alsons Power Group’s San Ramon Power Inc. (SRPI) recently turned over 205 reams or more than 100,000 sheets of bond paper to eight public schools located in SRPI’s host barangays of Sinubong, Pamucutan, and Talisayan, Zamboanga City.
The SRPI donation will enable the schools to print more than 25,000 learning modules for the start of the new school year.
SRPI is developing a 105 mega-watt baseload power plant that is expected to begin operations in 2024 to provide power to Zamboanga City and nearby areas.
Alsons Power is Mindanao’s first private sector power generator with a portfolio of four power facilities serving over eight million people in 14 cities and 11 provinces in the country’s second largest island.
