Zuitt Coding Bootcamp was named the winner of a Silver Stevie® Award in the Innovation Technology Development category in the 7th annual Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards last July 13.
True to its entry entitled ‘Tomohisa Kato, Your Lifelong Career Partner,’ Zuitt highlighted how the company was started by its Japanese founder and CEO Tomohisa Kato empowering his vision to give Filipinos a chance in learning coding with affordable and quality education as they become professional full stack web developers.
In just three years, Zuitt is now known to be a Philippine-based startup offering web development coding boot camps in Metro Manila. Its rapid growth has now helped over a thousand Filipinos to learn web development.
Adding to this is the organization’s goal to help its students be equipped with job-hunting skills to be able to land a software engineering job. The partnership with the students does not end after the training, but the company stayed true to its mission to help the bootcampers not only in gaining knowledge but also empowering them and assisting in their employability. A lifelong career partner indeed.
The company also presented how the effect of the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic crisis has hit them positively in terms of handling its employees and students. The opportunity gave birth to a new program for individuals with non-software engineering career paths. This same situation also paved the way for online live instructions boot camp, which is something that the company has not tried before.
To date, the company offers two new programs that are open for all — the Developer Career Program and Pi-Shaped Career Program.
The Developer Career Program caters to career shifters, fresh graduates, IT graduates, and professionals who aim to go full-on and fine-tune their web development skills to stay competitive at what they do. This course is inclusive of in-depth modules on Static applications, Stand-alone Dynamic applications, and Integrated applications covering the key concepts on all things Full Stack such as Front End Development, Languages & Algorithms, Database-driven website development.
On the other hand, a Pi-shaped Career Program is for individuals who are in need to learn to code so they can understand developers but do not necessarily need a career shift. With a beginner-friendly curriculum, this program contains the Static Applications module, Stand-alone Dynamic Applications module, and No-Code Dynamic Applications module.
