Honda unveils unified electrification campaign in PH

Previews the EM1 e: scooter & Civic RS e:HEV

Honda has officially launched its electrification campaign in the Philippines, introducing a new tagline, “The Power of Dreams – How We Move You,” which reflects its commitment to innovation and sustainable mobility. With a bold goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, Honda is rolling out an exciting lineup of electric vehicles (EVs) and power products, including a new e:HEV model from Honda Cars and the brand’s first Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) from Honda Motorcycles.

The flagship model, the All-New EM1 e:, features a high-quality lithium-ion battery and a Honda Brushless Electric Motor, ensuring a powerful yet eco-friendly ride. It includes advanced features such as Standard and Econ Mode Riding, an LCD Digital Display, and an all-LED lighting system, making it ideal for urban commuting. The EM1 e: will be available at Honda Flagship Shops in NCR, Cebu, Davao, and nationwide later this month.

Honda is also expanding its hybrid electric vehicle range with the New Honda Civic RS e:HEV, which boasts a modern design and cutting-edge technologies. This model integrates the latest Honda CONNECT system, enhancing user interaction via a smartphone app while featuring updated Honda SENSING technology for improved safety. The Civic RS e:HEV aims to deliver a seamless blend of performance and efficiency, reinforcing Honda’s commitment to sustainability.

Rie Miyake, President of Honda Cars Philippines, emphasized the significance of this electrification initiative: “The New Honda Civic RS e:HEV represents our dedication to providing innovative and environmentally friendly solutions for Filipino drivers. We are excited to offer vehicles that not only meet the demands of modern mobility but also contribute to a sustainable future for our communities.”

According to Ms. Sayaka Arai, President of Honda Philippines, the brand is dedicated to providing Filipinos with innovative and sustainable mobility solutions. “We are excited about the potential of these products to contribute to a clean and empowered future for Filipino families. Together, let’s ride toward a greener tomorrow,” she stated.
