The Department of Health (DOH), in support to the LAB for ALL Caravan led by First Lady Louise “Liza” Marcos, has provided health care services to more than 5,000 individuals.
“We are grateful to the First Lady as this is aligned with the DOH’s mission to guarantee all Filipinos’ access to quality health care services,” said Health Secretary Teodoro Herbosa on Monday.
“We are also thankful to the over 200 volunteers who dedicated their time to ensure the successful provision of medical and ancillary services from the DOH-EVCHD, Eastern Visayas Medical Center medical teams headed by Medical Center chief II Dr. Jose Michael Jaro, and the City Health Office of Tacloban City led by Dr. Gloria Fabregas,” Herbosa added.
