Marcos greenlights ‘MATATAG’ education agenda of VP Sara

President Marcos approved on Thursday the proposed Basic Education Development Plan (BEDP) 2030 and the MATATAG Agenda of the Department of Education (DepEd) led by Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte.

This developed following the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Board meeting at the Malacañan Palace. Marcos did not object to the proposals of DepEd as he highlighted its importance to the country’s education system.
