Agro-industrial firm Goldmine Farm to Market is joining the country’s biggest and longest running franchise show as franchisor-exhibitor on Oct. 27, 2023 at the SMX Convention Center Manila.
Goldmine chief executive Orlando Manuntag said the company recently discovered the powers of franchising as an efficient tool to expand its business.
“We have been in business for 25 years. We have expanded our operations nationwide through our efficient distribution network. We deemed it is time for us to further strengthen our position as a major player in agriculture, and now, we hope to be a strong player in franchising,” he said.
Goldmine works closely with the farmers in Nueva Ecija to provide farming inputs such as seeds, fertilizers, pesticides and post-harvest facilities.
Through a contract growing arrangement, Goldmine provides stable income to farmers from planting to harvest season and to the next planting season each year.
It has a rice mill in Bulacan that fully equipped with advanced machineries to perform milling, color sorting, processing, grading and polishing.
Goldmine Farm to Market is opening its retail stores for franchising to provide quality rice to consumers, said Manuntag.
“It is powered by a reliable POS system to ensure that rice produced by the farmers will be of the most affordable price for its franchisees and consumers. We aim to shorten the distribution channel from farm straight to demand,” he said.
