DOH cites Caloocan hospital for excellence

The Department of Health (DOH) has cited the Caloocan City Medical Center (CCMC) as an outstanding facility for excellent implementation of the new-born screening program.

Dr. Fernando Santos, CCMC’s Medical Director, expressed his gratitude for the DOH for the recognition, and to Caloocan Mayor Dale Gonzalo Malapitan for his continued support to the city hospital.

Malapitan acknowledged that the award received by CCMC highlights the city government’s efforts to establish a health care system that is people-oriented, free, and accessible. He likewise encouraged his constituents to avail of the services offered by the city hospitals and health centers to fully utilize the city’s programs. Jun David
