F4 Thailand Bright Vachirawit, Win Metawin, Nani Hirunkit, and Dew Jirawat from the series Boys Over Flowers are here in the Philippines for their Asian tour, Shooting Star.
The fan meeting happened at the World Trade Center in Pasay City on November 19, Saturday. The event was made possible through the collaboration of Globe, GMMTV, and Rise Media Philippines.
“We have put our all into this series [F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers]. We’re happy that our fans like it and give us positive feedback. We feel even happier because our success this time has allowed us to meet fans in many countries,” Vachirawit said in their Shooting Star Asia Tour video.
The Filipino fans gathered at the NAIA Terminal 2 to welcome the arrival of the Thai actors, who in return greeted and waved back to them.
During the Manila concert, they performed the official soundtracks of their series, “Who Am I” and “Shooting Star.” Each one also prepared a solo song. For Metawin, he sang “That Person Must Be You” from his series Still 2gether, while Vachirawit serenaded the fans through his rendition of the Eraserhead song “With a Smile. ”
Jirawat sang “In the Wind” onstage, and Hirunkit performed “Best Life” for his solo.
The fans also prepared a video project for the Thai actors, who turned emotional when they watched it onstage.
“Very happy to see all of you guys in person here, and it is like a dream come true. Hope you enjoy the show tonight,” Metawin said to the fans during the Manila concert.
The Shooting Star Asian Fan Meeting will also be touring other cities such as Ho Chi Minh, Hongkong, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Seoul, Taipei, Singapore, and Tokyo.
