Every year, artists all over the world take on the challenge of making an ink drawing every day for the entire month of October. Inktober, which was started by Jake Parker, encourages artists all over the world to develop their skills and drawing habits by creating an ink drawing every day for the whole month of October and share it to everyone through online posting.
Inktober made a stop at SM City North EDSA with SM and Staedtler bringing to life for the first time through the works of one of the country’s rising young artists Ms. Kara Pangilinan, filling up the space of SM North Edsa’s The Block Atrium with different installations of different places, things, inspirations in black and white lines, shapes and patterns. These art installations are available for appreciation from October 9-20, 2019.
Gracing the launch of the black and white art installations were Staedtler Marketing Manager for ESSEA Sewee Wongsirikul, Staedtler Sales Manager Agencies for ESSEA Steven Tan and Staedtler Business Development Director for ESSEA Danny Yong together with the exhibit’s featured artist Ms. Kara Pangilinan, Marvel Comic Book Artist Harvey Tolibao with SM SAVP for Marketing TJ Cuenca and SM North Edsa AMM Miguel Gaspi.
Inktober is one of the many exciting art events at SM City North EDSA.
