A strong earthquake measured at magnitude-4.4 struck the town of Kiamba in Sarangani at 5:47 AM on Sunday, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
Based on its latest information bulletin, Phivolcs traced the epicenter of the quake at 5.67 degrees north 124.39 degrees east – 43 km south 36 degrees west of the town at a depth of 432 kms.

There were no reported intensities listed on Phivolcs’ earthquake bulletin.
Phivolcs said no aftershocks are expected from this seismic activity and damage is unlikely.
