Quezon, Nueva Vizcaya—Another batch of day-care schoolchildren in this town recently completed their schooling with the support of a mining company.
Ian Moller, FCF Minerals Corp.’s General Manager for Sustainability, said the 166 day-care graduates came from nine Day Care Centers from various barangays of this town.
The graduates were confirmed by Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer Olivia Salvador and witnessed by the firm’s Community Relations Office Education Section, literacy facilitators, parents, municipal and barangay officials of CDCs.
Moller said FCF assists the operations of the CDCs and salaries of its facilitators as part of its commitment in empowering the children by giving them educational opportunities.
FCF Minerals operates the gold-molybdenum project in barangay Runruno in this town.
