The National Housing Authority (NHA) has signed a memorandum of agreement with Dapa municipality in Surigao del Norte, BCM Builders Inc. and Dapa Homeowners Association Inc. for a housing project that would benefit 684 Dapa residents.
NHA general manager Joeben Tai underscored the significance of the partnership which aims to address the housing needs of Filipino families, particularly in attaining President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. ‘s Bagong Pilipinas goal.
“I thank the Dapa local government for your cooperation and collaboration to start this project. This is one of the projects under my administration that I followed from planning to groundbreaking up to the construction,” he said.
“Our marching order is for the expeditious construction and turnover of the project in Surigao. And hoping for more housing projects sa Dapa…,” he added.
The agreement, which was inked at the NHA central office in Quezon City, was signed by Tai, Dapa Mayor Elizabeth Matugas, BCM president Nestor Borromeo and homeowners’ association president Julius Navarro.
The Dapa Island Residences would be built in Barangay Osmeña, consisting of nine buildings with three floors each.
