Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya—The scouting site in Barangay Masoc here is being considered for the development of another eco-tourism park by the provincial government.
Engineer Jerry Tan, chief of the Provincial Engineering Office’s construction division, said the proposed 20-hectare eco-tourism park plan will be built and funded by the provincial government.
He made the presentation during the recent Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of the Philippines’ Local Council Executive Board (LCEB).
“Planned initial structures will be a large swimming pool and Tagaytay-inspired huts, view decks, a tree-hopping line, a zipline, and para-gliding facilities,” he said.
LCEB officials also proposed setting up a larger stage for the scouting site.
The stage and the full enhancement of the scouting site will accommodate scouting jamborees, shows and concerts for regional, provincial and municipal scouting chapters.
