Neon eSports recently ruled the Predator League: Dota 2 Finals—a highly anticipated gaming and youth event in the Philippines.
The said competition, now on its second year, provides an opportunity to the gaming community to showcase their competence and skills.
Four semifinalists, namely Alpha Gaming from Visayas, Neon eSports from Metro Manila, TaskUs Titans from Luzon and NCGC from Mindanao, competed for the Predator League Championship title.
After a heated semifinals, TaskUs Titans won over NCGC, while Alpha Gaming bowed to Neon eSports.
A well-fought championship battle was witnessed by the audience between TaskUs and Neon, where the latter emerged as winner.
Third runner-up Alpha Gaming and second runner-up NCGC both won a cash prize of P20,000, while TaskUs ended its run with a bridesmaid finish and P40,000.
Following its dominant win, Neon eSports bagged the coveted Predator League 2019 DOTA 2 Championship and won the P120,000 top purse.
