The Bureau of Immigration has ordered the deportation of Australian missionary Sister Patricia Fox for allegedly violating the conditions of her visa in joining political activities.
The nun earlier managed to dodge a previous deportation order after the Department of Justice voided a previous decision of the BI to forfeit her missionary visa.
President Rodrigo Duterte has publicly criticized Fox, who he said had no right to “insult” the Philippine government.
The 71-year-old nun was ordered investigated by Duterte for “disorderly conduct.”
Fox repeatedly denied joining public rallies, insisting that her actions were “consistent” with her work as a religious missionary.
