Running event reached a milestone

A total of 1,500 runners join the Run and Raise 4 

The fourth edition of Run and Raise, New World Hotels and Resorts’ small-scale charity fun run, held recently recorded its highest participant turnout to date. 

A total of 1,500 participants trooped to Rajah Sulayman Park in Manila to tackle the 3K, 5K, and 16K courses.

Winners for 3K distance male category were Norman Domingo (1st), Rioringo Dacudao (2nd), and John Dy Francisco (3rd). Top finishers for the female category were Gabriella Venturina (1st), Reisse Hiyasmin Benito (2nd), and Shiela Patino (3rd).

The top finishers for the 5K male category were Jeramie Berja (1st), Jhay Zamora (2nd), and Boyet Sablande (3rd); the female winners were Andrea Enriquez (1st), May Alejandria (2nd), and Januvie Dacillo (3rd). For the 10K distance, male winners were Marlon Abanzado (1st), Robin Angeles (2nd), and Gerald Bernal (3rd), and female winners were Cindy Lorenzo (1st), Astrid Rivera (2nd), and Hyacinth Dadap (3rd). 

Top finishers for the 16K male category were Joseph Mururi (1st), Adonis Miraucos (2nd), and Rodolfo Olivas (3rd), and for female category were Beverly Koa (1st), Lorraine Aguion (2nd), and Marie Perez (3rd).

Each winner received exclusive gifts from New World Makati Hotel and AG New World Manila Bay, while all participants were given finisher medals and loot bags filled by the event’s generous sponsors.

Proceeds from the run were donated to ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation, Inc.
