The interior design graduating batch of De La Salle College of Saint Benilde is currently holding an exhibit at the All Home, WiI Tower, Eugenio Lopez Drive in Quezon city. The students of the batch were tasked to create different areas of a co-working space catering to design occupations. One of the booths latched on to the concept of “tiyaga”, or perseverance, and came up with designs describing the hardworking Filipino, who pushes himself to create something innovative with limited resources, no matter how difficult the job. Their designs aimed to produce spaces that allow users to work alone, while still being conducive to collaboration. Utilizing Filipino-inspired accents, the designs — in warm-toned orange and yellow paired with pops of blue — display how the designers interpret staying rooted in humility and perseverance. The show will be open until December 11.
