NOVELETA, Cavite—With the Department of Trade and Industry-Cavite’s goal to put up Negosyo Centers in 23 towns and cities of the province, the agency opened its 15th center here on Monday at the ground floor of the municipal hall.
DTI Region-4A Director Marilou Toledo graced the event and signed a memorandum of agreement with Noveleta Mayor Dino Reyes Chua, witnessed by Vice Mayor Donnie Torres, Teresita Leabres of PCCI, DTI-Cavite Provincial Director Noly Guevarra and Risa Pinpin-Enero.
The Negosyo Center in Noveleta follows similar business centers established in the cities of General Trias, Trece Martires, Cavite, Bacoor, Imus and Dasmariňas and the towns of Kawit, Carmona, Ternate, Mendez, Naic, Amadeo, and Maragondon.
DTI’s goal, according to Toledo is to establish centers in the remaining Cavite towns, namely Indang, Magallanes, Rosario, Silang, General Emilio Aguinaldo and Tanza, as well as in the city of Tagaytay.
Guevara expressed optimism on the various partnerships with the local government units here given the DTI’s assistance and support to those who have just started their businesses as well as aspiring entrepreneurs.
With business dynamism in the towns and cities, jobs could be created even from the family-owned and the micro, small and medium enterprises.
The “Negosyo Center” location is prioritized based on the town’s readiness to operate a center and added factors on the number of existing and possible business registrants in the area.
