Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar has abolished the Strategic Communications Office (SCO), a unit under his office – the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO).
Thirteen personnel under contract have been reassigned to OSEC-Media under Andanar.

Seven personnel will be supervised by Communications Assistant Secretary Kissinger Reyes.
SCO has 30 personnel.
The rest of the 10 workers are deemed either resigned or that their contracts have supposedly expired.
Andanar signed the order on Tuesday, March 30, 2017.
He did not state any reason for the abolition of the SCO.
