TOURISM Secretary Wanda Tulfo-Teo on Monday directed their communications group to aggressively promote the Philippines’ scuba-diving destinations and advocate environmental conservation.
At least 36 entries won awards in various categories, including DoT Photographer of the Year awards for Yoshio Osawa and Dennis Corpuz for their originality and composition in showcasing the bursting underwater life.

Undersecretary Kat de Castro, head of DoT Public Affairs, Communication and Special Projects, said 131 divers from 17 countries, as well as, local aficionados from all over the archipelago, competed in a five-day underwater photo contest.
