Honda Philippines, Inc. successfully held the 4th leg of the Honda Riders’ Convention on November 12, 2024, marking a vibrant return to in-person events after the pandemic. This year’s convention drew thousands of passionate Honda riders from across Luzon, showcasing the brand’s enduring popularity and strong connection with its community.
The event featured a dynamic motor show, where attendees admired accessorized Honda bikes, along with exciting off-road activities and a visit to Honda’s Technology Center. Here, participants learned about cutting-edge innovations like the e-clutch system in the All-New CB650R and the Road Sync features of the All-New NX500. Riders also had the opportunity to test a range of models, including the Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV), the All-New EM1 e:, and popular off-road bikes like the CRF125F and CRF250RX.
In addition to thrilling motorcycle experiences, trade partners offered exclusive discounts on gear, parts, and accessories, enhancing the day’s excitement. Attendees enjoyed engaging booth games and even received complimentary massages—a thoughtful touch for those who traveled long distances.
The convention also recognized the efforts of Honda Club Presidents in promoting road safety and camaraderie among riders. They participated in open discussions with Honda executives, reflecting the brand’s commitment to community engagement. The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) honored Honda with a citation for its initiatives in road safety, further solidifying its reputation as a responsible manufacturer.
Highlighting the day’s festivities, Honda’s lady president, Ms. Sayaka Arai, took a test ride on the CRF125F alongside renowned off-road rider Jovie Saulog and rising motocross star Sharlet Gallarde. Honda also donated two CRF125F units to The Forest Crest Nature Resort & Hotel, enhancing their trail adventure offerings.
The lively program featured stage games, appearances by PVL player Michelle Gumabao, and numerous raffles, including a grand prize of a Honda Big Bike, the CB500F. The event culminated with a performance by the band Orange & Lemons, adding a celebratory atmosphere.
