GMA Network and GMA News and Public Affairs’ investigative documentary film “Lost Sabungeros” will debut in Philippine cinema this November.
According to a statement from GMA Public Affairs, the film will premiere at the QCinema International Film Festival.
“Walang makapipigil sa katotohanan. The previously canceled premiere of GMA Public Affairs and GMA Pictures’ first investigative docu-film, ‘Lost Sabungeros,’ is finally set to debut at the QCinema International Film Festival this November,” the statement read.
The film explores the mysterious disappearances of dozens of Filipino cockfight enthusiasts.
“Lost Sabungeros” was initially scheduled to debut at the Cinemalaya Film Festival but was canceled due to security concerns.
Director Bryan Brazil expressed his relief and gratitude for the opportunity to showcase the film at QCinema.
