Damosa Land, Inc. (DLI) recently celebrated its 20th anniversary, marking two decades of impactful contributions to Mindanao’s real estate sector.
Since its inception, the company has focused on uplifting the quality of life and fostering socio-economic development in the region. Through innovative projects and strategic partnerships, Damosa Land has empowered local communities.
One of its flagship projects, the Anflo Industrial Estate (AIE), has become a key partner for businesses in Mindanao. By providing industrial lots and facilities, AIE supports companies and drives economic growth in the area.
“Our anniversary means so much because this highlights everything that we have accomplished in the past 20 years and the many things we can do moving forward. While 20 years may already seem like a long time to many, for us, it marks just the beginning of our progress in Mindanao,” said Damosa Land president Ricardo Lagdameo.
AIE also houses the world’s largest tennis ball manufacturing facility operated by Head Sport, which is expected to create jobs and further boost the local economy. Recently, AIE secured an additional investment of $3 million from Tide Solar Inc. This investment, alongside the operations of Head Sports, opens new opportunities for local rubber producers.
Damosa Land has also made significant strides in residential and mixed-use developments with projects like Damosa Fairlane and Seawind that offer comfort and quality. The company developed Agriya, the first agri-tourism city in Davao, and the mixed-use Bridgeport project on Samal Island, offering a luxurious coastal living experience.
In addition to residential and mixed-use developments, Damosa Land has established a reputation for its commercial properties. The Damosa Diamond Tower, Mindanao’s first green-certified office building, provides spaces for various corporate firms. The company has also introduced flexible workspaces in Davao and Cagayan de Oro in partnership with the International Workplace Group.
As Damosa Land looks to the future, it continues to innovate and expand. Upcoming projects include Kahi Estates and the TRYP condotel on Samal Island, as well as the University of the Philippines Professional School for Agriculture and the Environment (UP PSAE), which is currently under construction.
“The past 20 years have been fulfilling for Damosa Land, and we are grateful that we achieved our goals for the company, our people, and most importantly, for the industry and Mindanao. Moving forward, we are inspired to continue what we have started and reach greater heights,” Lagdameo said.
With over 11,000 jobs generated, nearly 1,600 homes built, and more than 700,000 square meters of leasable space, Damosa Land has proven its leadership in Mindanao’s real estate sector. As the company enters its third decade, it remains committed to creating vibrant communities where families, businesses, and nature thrive together.
