The Commission on Appointments (CA) confirmed the ad interim appointments of six Philippine Air Force (PAF) generals and one reservist general on November 27, 2024.
The confirmation took place during a session at the Senate of the Philippines in Pasay City.
The newly appointed generals include Lieutenant General Augustine S. Malinit, the Inspector General of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
Major General Eric C. Gachalian serves as the Commander of the Air Education, Training and Doctrine Command.
Brigadier General Moises L. Micor is the Wing Commander of the Tactical Operations Wing Central.
Brigadier General Jonathan M. Aquino leads the 355th Aviation Engineer Wing.
Brigadier General Jose Bonifacio F. Calub commands the 410th Maintenance Wing.
Brigadier General Joel A. Inacay is the Deputy Commander of the Air Logistics Command.
Brigadier General Jude P. Ejercito is the Wing Commander of the 5th Air Force Wing Reserve.
PAF extended its congratulations to the newly confirmed generals for their exemplary service and leadership within the organization.
