The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Tuesday served a subpoena ad testificandum to Vice President Sara Duterte at the headquarters of the Office of the Vice President (OVP) in Mandaluyong City.
This would allow the Vice President to explain her side following her assassination remark to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, and House Speaker Martin Romualdez.
Duterte is ordered to appear in the NBI’s Office of the Director at 9 a.m. on November 29 to give her evidence.
The investigation aims to shed light on the alleged Grave Threats under Art. 282 of the Revised Penal Code in relation to Sec. 6 of Republic Act 10175 and possible violation of Republic Act 11479.
