The Philippine Army’s Public Affairs Offices participated in a hybrid training session focused on optimizing secured social media management, hosted by Meta Philippines at the Facebook Philippines Representative Office in Taguig City.
Over 200 online participants from various Army units nationwide attended the session, while approximately 30 participants joined the face-to-face training.
Guilin Catherine Zhou, Meta’s Head of Government and Social Impact Partnerships and the resource speaker, discussed topics including Social Media Account Security, Community Standards, and how to maximize Facebook and Instagram for effective social media management tailored for non-profit organizations and government offices.
This joint initiative between the Philippine Army and Meta Philippines marks their first collaborative effort in social media information and education.
