Cebu Pacific (CEB) canceled 10 domestic flights of CebGo in Siargao scheduled for Friday, November 15, due to weather advisories related to approaching Tropical Storm ‘Pepito’ (international name: Man-Yi).
The affected flights were two flights in Siargao going to and from Manila and eight flights to and from Cebu:
- DG 6839/6840: Manila – Siargao – Manila
- DG 6853/6854: Cebu – Siargao – Cebu
- DG 6855/6856: Cebu – Siargao – Cebu
- DG 6859/6860: Cebu – Siargao – Cebu
- DG 6901/6902: Cebu – Surigao – Cebu
The airline offered passengers the option to rebook their flights without fare difference for up to 30 days, use a Travel Fund or store the amount in a virtual CEB wallet, or refund their tickets.
The airline is also offering flexible options, including free rebooking and Travel Fund, to postpone their November 15 flights in Calbayog, Camiguin, Siargao, Surigao, and Tacloban, and all domestic and international flights on November 16-18, 2024.
“We anticipate disruption to our flight operations in the coming days,” the airline stated in its advisory, Thursday night.
CEB stated the safety of passengers and crew remains the priority, and passengers are encouraged to consider rescheduling travel plans to a later date. It noted the affected travelers have been informed of these flight changes.
