The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) are also working together to search for the kidnapped American vlogger in Zamboanga del Norte.
The two agencies conducted coastal patrol in the area, where Elliot Eastman was allegedly taken. He was allegedly shot in the leg by four assailants.
In this regard, AFP spokesperson Colonel Francel Margareth Padilla said that they are ready for the tracking and pursuit operation.
Currently, the Philippine National Police (PNP) has two persons of interest related to the disappearance of the foreigner.
Earlier, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) also sent agents in the Philippines to help in finding the missing US national.
