The Department of Education (DepEd) recognized 13 DepEd personnel during the 13th Amb. Antonio L. Cabangon Chua Gintong Parangal para sa Edukasyon.
DepEd Secretary Sonny Angara led the recognition of DepEd personnel.

In collaboration with Fortune Life and Marylindbert International, the award-giving body, recognized and awarded 18 DepEd personnel who showed exemplary dedication to their work.
Angara commended the teachers for their unwavering faith in their professions and eagerness to serve Filipino children in his keynote speech.
Angara also mentioned the friendship of the Cabangon and the Angara families and highlighted the story of Cabangon Chua’s story of hard work and discipline.
