First Secretary of the Embassy of Japan Mr. AKASAKA Hidenori attended the signing ceremony for the extension of the memorandum of cooperation between Japan and the Philippines for the Tier 1 programme under the framework of the ASEAN Plus Three Emergency Rice Reserve (APTERR). The MOC has been extended for three years from October 2024 to 2027 to establish rice stock and provide the agreed amount of rice in times of large-scale natural disasters.
