The second general assembly (GA) of the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation (SKF) of Caloocan City was successfully held over the weekend.
Before this, a training workshop on “Financial Transaction of the Sangguniang Kabataan” was also held at the Caloocan Sports Complex attended by SK chairmen, budget officers, and treasurers.
The general assembly was witnessed by DILG-Caloocan City director Marco Cabueños.
The face-to-face training workshop is part of a five-day online seminar organized by the Commission on Audit of Caloocan City.
The seminar was attended by the leadership of COA-Caloocan led by Leah C. Bernardino who expressed gratitude for the cooperation shown by the entire SK Fed and SK officials in the city.
Cabueños paid tribute to the leadership of SK Fed president Councilor Vince Hernandez.
Cabueños said the event shows the readiness of the SK leadership to answer questions and give solutions to community issues. Jun David
For Hernandez, all the praise and gratitude is for his fellow SK Fed officials, as well as fellow SK chairpersons.
SK Fed officers also paid tribute to those who presented their report at the F2F workshop specifically Emman Christian Alpe, Alih Mae Dulce and officials Iligan, Menes, Narvasa and Santiago.
Aside from the issue of submitting their annual dues, one of the topics discussed in GA was the various SKF programs for the city’s youth.
Hernandez called on to his fellow SK officers to intensify the vaccination campaign and also help coordinate the upcoming face-to-face class in Caloocan.
