The Meralco Bolts are tapping Tony Bishop as their reinforcement this coming Governors’ Cup, replacing first choice Shabazz Muhammad.
Muhammad was unavailable due to personal reasons, while the Bolts’ resident-import Allen Durham had a prior commitment in Japan.

Bishop, a national team player for Panama, previously played in Puerto Rico for Mets de Guaynabo.
The 32-year-old forward averaged 19.8 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists there.
The Bolts are seeking a revenge campaign after coming up short in the 2019 Governors’ Cup, losing to Barangay Ginebra in the finals in five games.
