The groups further vowed to support the DHSUD’s 20-year housing roadmap, especially in establishing more socialized housing projects nationwide.

May Rodriguez, SHDA national president said the SHDA will help the DHSUD “build homes that our fellow Filipinos strive to have.”

“The government has responded with a wide array of measures to protect our tenants, mortgage holders as well as support developers and lenders. We can do this together, DHSUD, NREA, and all other stakeholders,” NREA chairperson-emerita Marissa del Mar said.

OSHDP head Paolo Giovanni Olivares said this month’s celebration “reminds us of the continuing partnership with the government through DHSUD and other shelter-related agencies.”
