Fast food chain unveils new store features for quick ordering, convenient dining

Fast food just got faster as McDonald’s Philippines opens new store innovation for drive-thru and outdoor dining.

The first dual-lane drive-thru at McDonald’s Anabu.

In August, the chain’s branch in Anabu, Cavite launched the first dual lane drive-thru, enabling two simultaneous transactions to cut down waiting time.

The ride-thru dual lane is part of the NXTGEN upgrades made to elevate customer experience. McDonald’s NXTGEN stores include self-ordering kiosks, cashless payments, split counters for ordering and claiming, Guest Experience Leaders, and more.

Bike and Dine area

“With the opening of our very first ride-thru dual lane branch and the introduction of more modern global store innovations in the Philippines, we are able to elevate the ordering and dining experiences of Filipino consumers, bringing them more ‘love ko ‘to’ moments for years to come,” said McDonald’s Philippines assistant vice president Oliver Rabatan.

The next ride-thru dual lane will soon open at McDonald’s SLEx-Mamplasan branch.

In addition to faster ordering features, the chain also rolled out Bike and Dine areas in several branches. It has bike racks with dining ledges that allow cyclists to enjoy their meals close to their bikes outdoors.
