In a recent virtual interview in line with his contract renewal with GMA Network, actor Mikael Daez revealed that he and wife Megan Young are keen on residing in Subic, Zambales.
“Actually, we already have a place in Zambales but we haven’t moved yet,” he said. “Megan and I are very spontaneous and we realized that a lot of work still requires us to be based in Metro Manila.
“We are very grateful for all the wonderful opportunities that come our way so we decided to stay. What happens is that when we have time, maybe one day or during the weekend, we go to Subic to visit our place.”
Residing in Subic is part of their long-term goal.
“Given the right timing, we’ll really move there in a heartbeat. For one, the quality of life there is very different. You don’t have to go through EDSA and encounter traffic. Spending two hours of your day literally or almost ten percent of your life in traffic is a waste of time. Megan and I believe that living in Zambales will be a great experience and will be the source of wonderful memories.”
Meanwhile, the \ actor is happy with the fact that the latest drama series he starred in Love of My Life with Carla Abellana, Rhian Ramos, Tom Rodriguez, and Coney Reyes can now be seen in the streaming platform Netflix.
“Such development really makes me proud. We have our soap opera, something we put so much blood, sweat, and tears into, and it can be viewed by people around the world in High Definition (HD). Guess it’s pretty cool and nice,” stated Mikael.

Asked about Julia Montes’ recent entry in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, Yassi Pressman averred that it was “definitely, it’s a great move.”
She said that she was so excited when she saw the teaser.
“Well, I’m sure many already miss seeing Julia on screen again. She took a rest for quite some time, right? I don’t know what she did but I’m certain it was great for her. And for her to make FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano as her comeback vehicle, I’m sure that her fans are hugely excited.”
Yassi wishes her former program the best of luck.
“I know that whatever they do, it will always be well-thought of and exciting.”
She was part of Kapamilya’s longest-running action-drama series for five years as Coco Martin’s love interest. Her character exited the show in January this year.
“I’m grateful to be with them for a long time. It was a conflict of schedule why I left,” Yassi ended.
