Angeles City—Mayor Carmelo Lazatin, Jr. on Friday appealed to all companies here to give their employees ‘flexible time’ in receiving their vaccines via the city’s Ronda Bakuna and Sundo Bakuna programs.
According to Lazatin, these vaccination programs launched by the city government are intended for all priority groups including workers.
Prior to the vaccination day, City Hall employees from Gender and Development Office, City Social Welfare and Development Office, Angeles City Anti-Drug Abuse Council, and City Nutrition Office conducted household visits in the barangay to give out vaccine forms and notices.
“This is why we are asking all companies to allow their employees to receive their vaccines once the Ronda Bakuna and Sundo Bakuna have been scheduled in their respective barangays,” Lazatin said.
Lazatin is also reminding employees to do their part, give their own time, and participate in the city’s ongoing vaccination program.
So far, under the A4 priority group also known as economic workers and front liners and uniformed personnel, 35,962 already received their first dose of vaccine, while 15,150 were fully vaccinated.
Lazatin also said the vaccine being administered by the city government is for free and cautioned residents not to entertain groups or individuals asking for payment for inoculations.
He urged his constituents to immediately report any of these fraudulent activities in the city government’s hotline 09517570226.
