In the story, he plays the character of Ismael Makadatu, a Maranao Muslim who has three wives. Alice plays the role of his first wife in the story.

“I’ve been a fan of hers ever since. It’s a privilege to share the screen with her. Every scene I have with her is an excellent opportunity to show your acting mettle considering her being a veteran. One good thing about her is that she possesses a very positive work attitude, the reason why until now, she’s still around and gets to play meaty roles,” he says.

As for Andrea, he was always vocal about wanting to work with her. The actress plays the role of his second wife in the drama.

“I’ve seen her previous works and I’m impressed. She’s very professional as well. Perhaps, we just have similarities like we don’t want to encounter difficulties and be the source of problem on the set. That’s the reason why we have a good working relationship with each other and the people around us,” the 40-year-old actor states.

Meanwhile, Bianca, the youngest among the three, is his character’s third wife in the primetime soap.

“I believe that her role in Legal Wives is more mature as compared to her past projects. As my third wife in the story, I was amazed by the range of acting she exhibited. Despite her young age, she has shown a different kind of sensitivity,” he shares.

“Even without dialogues, she can convey her emotions through her eyes. It’s very expressive and meaningful. That’s why I told her that after this show, I’m sure she’ll be given meatier assignments that would further showcase her acting skill,” he adds.

Dennis earned the moniker Kapuso Drama King because he has already proven himself as an acting stalwart with his numerous accolades.

“Well, perhaps I just think of it as a job. I don’t put it in my head. I am grateful for all the good things that happen in my life. It doesn’t mean that when you are surrounded by positive developments in your life, you will become boastful. You should remain humble all the time,” he ends.
