The ongoing online art exhibit of renowned artist and educator Fidel Sarmiento showcases how life continues to flourish and inspire.
Padayon: Showcasing Life’s Continuity Through Art highlights Sarmiento’s 38 paintings with subjects ranging from landscape and still life, as well as homages to other renowned artists.
The show is on view until July 31 on the website (www.sunshineplaceph.com) of Sunshine Place Recreation Center, where the artist is the head instructor of acrylic and oil painting classes.
After the exhibit, a selected Sunshine Place art student who graduate from an acrylic painting course under the tutelage of Sarmiento will have the chance to have their own solo online art exhibit, where they can showcase and sell their works.
