Top Filipino boy group SB19 has reached another breakthrough in its musical career when the lyric video for the song “MAPA,” the P-pop Kings’ fifth single, amassed almost 15 million views on YouTube.
Just recently, the group trended on Twitter when the single, released on May 16, breached the 10 million mark in terms of views. And just five days later, the lyric video records another five million views.
Members of A’TIN, the group’s loyal fandom, expressed their support for the band in its latest feat. They also rally for the song to remain popular on different streaming sites such as YouTube, Spotify, and TikTok where it’s slowly getting traction with users sharing their personal experiences in a video using the track as background song.
Meanwhile, SB19 bagged the Top Celebrity Award in the recently concluded Tiktok Awards where the group also performed its popular single live.
Following the exceptional performance of “MAPA,” the group promised to release “Pagsibol” track ahead of the virtual concert “Back in the Zone” scheduled on Aug. 1.
