San Miguel Yamamura Packaging Corp has engaged community-based tailors to help it produce PPEs for various medical facilities in the country, according to Ramon S. Ang, president and CEO of conglomerate San Miguel Corp. This will not only sustain their livelihoods, it will also increase local production, grow employment, keep communities vibrant and help boost the economy, the tycoon said.
