Random acts of kindness and good deeds are still present amid the COVID-19 pandemic. This was proven once again as a security personnel in SM Center Pulilan displayed remarkable honesty when he returned P46,798 worth of cash to a mall patron recently.
Security guard Rodel Victorino, who was then assigned to the SM Center Pulilan parking area, was checking the vicinity when he found a wallet containing various identification cards and cash.
Victorino immediately reported the recovered valuable to the mall’s Customer Relations Office (CRS).
Later, the wallet was returned to the owner, Cristan Parajas, a resident of Sta. Maria, Bulacan, who heaved a sigh of relief and expressed his gratitude to the guard, as he went to CRS Office to claim his lost item.
Victorino’s good deed is another proof of SM Center Pulilan security force’s service and integrity. On May 2020, a security officer from the same mall, Reynold Gumarang, earned praises on social media as he returned a patron‘s wallet containing P36,431.
