TV actor Diego Loyzaga believes that there’s no secret when it comes to keeping his romantic relationship strong and intact. For him, his current smooth-sailing relationship with his ladylove Barbie Imperial is all about never-ending compromises, just like how other couples make their relationship work.
“You have your own differences. There are things which you don’t agree upon. But you also have numerous likes about each other. So, really, there’s no secret. It simply works,” the 25-year-old actor says.
Diego and Barbie have been together for just a couple of months but the actor announces that his intentions for Barbie are serious.
“Well, a relationship eventually leads to marriage, right? Building a family, have kids, things like that. That’s exactly how I look at my relationship with Barbie and I guess she looks at it the same way. We understand each other,” he shares.
“Expectedly, just like any relationship, not every day is a good day. But it is during these times that we understand each other even more. So you see, it’s not a secret but it’s also easier said than done,” he adds.
Diego lists Barbie being a maternal person as one of the qualities that endear her to him.
“But at the same time, she’s like a baby as well. And that’s what I like. I treat her as my baby. I also like it when I’m the one who’s taking care of her. I like how she can bring out the best in me and take care of me at the same time. If she wants to be babied, she asks it from me and I generously give in,” Diego reveals.
Diego will be celebrating his 26th birthday on May 21 and this is his first celebration where he and Barbie are sweethearts. What’s his wish on his special day?
“Actually, it’s not personal. It’s for the whole nation. I really wish that the COVID-19 pandemic will already end. Many people are suffering. There are lots who want to be with their family and friends but are restricted. Here in our industry, many are affected. Not everybody can work on a movie project or soap opera. It’s just sad. I hope all these will come to an end,” ends Diego.
It was learned that just recently, Migo Adecer flew back to Australia and left his promising showbiz career in the Philippines. This came after the successful run of his latest GMA teleserye “Anak ni Waray Vs. Anak ni Biday” opposite Barbie Forteza and Kate Valdez.
In his Instagram post on April 9, 2021, the Ultimate Male Survivor of “StarStruck’s” 6th edition announced:
“Alright peeps, this is it. Time for me to head out with a bang!
“Thank you for the memories and thank you for the support! There were lots of good (and bad) memories that were made during my stay here but they all made me who I am today!
“Met the love of my life here and worked with some hectic people! To the Philippines, I bid you farewell.
“To GMA Network and Artist Center, I say thank you for the epic opportunity to work for you guys. To Migonatics, thank you for the love and support and for one last time, keep up the hype! See you on the flip side (get it?)”
According to reports, Migo was having anxiety because of the worsening state of Covid-19 in the country. Work is not consistent and he misses his family already. It is surely sad news for his fans especially those who are rooting for his love team with Kate Valdez. They top-billed the second installment of the GTV anthology “My Fantastic Pag-ibig” titled, “Exchange of Hearts.” They also had a guest stint in another GTV hit program titled, “Heartful Café” headlined by Julie Ann San Jose and David Licauco.
Well, with his looks and considerable talents (apart from acting, the good-looking hunk is also a composer and wanted to branch out into the music industry), Migo can still stage a successful comeback once this pandemic is over.
Agree, folks?
