In his recent guesting in the GMA-7 top-rating Sunday late-night show The Boobay and Tekla Show (TBATS), Jeric Gonzales admitted the present state of his romantic life.
“I’m very much single now and ready to mingle,” he said.
Yes, you read it right! The 28-year-old soap opera actor is not romantically involved with anyone at the moment. So, what are the physical attributes that he looks for in a girl?
“Honestly, I don’t go for that. Rather, I believe in love at first sight. When you see the right person, you know she’s the one. I don’t believe that she should be exceptionally beautiful. As long as your heart beats for her, go,” he shared.
When it comes to age, the actor has no requirements either.
“Actually, I go for older or more mature women. They have definitely more experience and that way, I will learn a lot of things from them. I guess that’s the advantage there!”
Speaking of age difference, the 28-year-old hunk gave a piece of his mind on the intrigue linking him romantically with Sheryl Cruz who is much older than he is.
“I would admit that Ms. Sheryl and I became close while doing our afternoon soap ‘Magkaagaw.’ We’re vocal about it. Whatever friendship we have right now, we just want to keep it to ourselves. Our closeness is indeed special,” Jeric ended.

Because of the fact that her recently concluded soap opera “Anak ni Waray Vs. Anak ni Biday” was a consistent ratings winner as well as her previous starrers, many opine that Barbie Forteza is the next Primetime Queen of GMA.
At present, she is considered as the Kapuso Primetime Princess but due to Marian Rivera’s decision to lie low in doing primetime programs in the meantime, it is believed that she is a rightful heiress to the throne. To this Barbie states:
“My God, no! Ate Marian will always be GMA’s Primetime Queen. Nothing and no one can ever change that!”
Barbie has an impressive track record since she started headlining Kapuso primetime offerings. Among her hit soaps are: “Pilyang Kerubin”, “AnnaKareNina”, “First Time”, “Paroa: Ang Kuwento ni Mariposa”, “Inday Will Always Love You”, “That’s My Amboy”, “Kara Mia” and “Meant To Be.”
According to the diminutive lass, she’s already happy with the tag as Kapuso Primetime Princess.
“After years of being asked this question, I can say that I’m more confident now in saying that I earned the title. I worked hard for it. And I’m more inspired at this point to further improve so I will really become worthy of the moniker!”

Katrina Halili admits that she feels nervous and pressured with her role in the movie “Abe-Nida” which is being produced by BG Productions.
“For one, I play dual roles in the film,” she avers. “It’s simply exciting since, for the longest time, I’ve been longing to breathe life to this kind of character. In the movie, Nida and Cecile have different personalities. It’s quite challenging.
“Then, I will be under the helm of Direk Louie Ignacio whom I miss working with. It will also be the first time I’ll share the screen with Allen Dizon who is an award-winning actor. But I’m happy because I’ll be working with top-notch talents. For sure, I’ll learn a lot from my experience with them.”
She will have sexy scenes with Allen in the film.
“I leave it all up to Direk Louie. We know his caliber as a director. I’m certain the scenes will be shot artistically and he will take good care of us while executing the whole thing.”
In a recent interview with Direk Louie, he said that “Abe-Nida” will be an excellent vehicle for Katrina to be finally recognized by award-giving bodies.
“Well, I’m flattered with what he said but at the same time nervous. I’m skeptical about awards. I haven’t received one for acting yet. But if this time I’ll be recognized, why not, right?” states Katrina.
