CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga—Three suspected illegal drugs traffickers were arrested by anti-narcotics operatives following a buy bust at Barangay Ninoy Aquino here where P5 million worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride was seized from them Sunday evening.
Police Colonel Rommel Batangan, acting director of the Angeles City Police Office (ACPO), identified the suspects as Noraden Naser Ariray, alias Conan, of Marisol Village; Roberto Angeles Carbungco, of Brgy. Lourdes Northwest and Anthony Quitalig Bonifacio, of Bamban, Tarlac.
Batangan said the suspects earned notoriety after their names surfaced in previous drug bust. He said they are included in the police list of illegal drugs personalities operating in Angeles City and nearby areas in Pampanga and Tarlac.
In his report to BGen. Valeriano De Leon, Central Luzon police chief, Batangan said the suspects have been placed under discreet monitoring by ACPO- Drug Enforcement Unit due to their involvement in the city drug trade.
On Sunday, Batangan said DEU cops arranged a drug deal with the suspect who agreed to meet them along Valdez Street, Marisol Village in this city.
The suspects were immediately arrested after they handed over 800 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P5.4 million.
