Star POP has introduced its latest artist, multi-hyphenate Kanishia, who launched her debut single “A Little Taste of Danger” on Oct. 16.
Although new to the recording industry, the 19-year-old promising talent has tons of experience in acting, singing, and dancing. She started performing onstage at a young age and has been involved in school theater productions for five years now.
“I started to like singing when I was seven years old. I enjoy performing onstage and entertaining people, not only showing my talent in singing but also in acting,” she shared.
Coincidentally, Kanishia breaks into the mainstream with her frisky debut single “A Little Taste of Danger,” about wanting to go out of one’s comfort zone and exploring more of what life and the world have to offer.
“I was able to relate to the song. Every time I listen to it, I imagine a butterfly coming from a caterpillar,” Kanishia said. “You can bloom once you have enough experience.”
The spirited song was written and composed by singer-songwriter Marion Aunor, and produced by Jack Rufo and ABS-CBN Music creative director Jonathan Manalo.
Kanishia is a welcome addition to the rich talents under Star POP—an ABS-CBN Music label for the younger audience headed by Rox Santos.
The single is now available on numerous digital music streaming services.
