He said the building has seven rooms and can accommodate two officers per room, or a total of 14 police commissioned officers.

The project is worth P3 million and was funded through the initiative of Rep. Bustos.

Zamora and Police BGen. Valeriano Templo De Leon, Central Luzon Police director, led the turnover of the BOQ to its tenants as part of the Command Visit activities.

“This infrastructure is a collaboration between private group and the police in boosting the morale of our men and satisfying the towering expectations of the public upon us,” said De Leon.

Part of the activities was the formal surrender of a member of an indigenous group who swore allegiance to the government after more than three years as an armed guerilla in the underground movement. The rebel also turned over his firearm, a 12-gauge shotgun, to the police during the ceremony.

Part of the Command Visit activities was the awarding of medals to police officers who excelled in their respective fields as law enforcers, specifically in the illegal drugs campaign.
